Business Development Manager – IOT

Ahmedabad | India 5-8 years Openings – 1

Responsibilities:

  • Book in-person meetings for management / senior team members to meet while visiting at prospective client location to performs discovery sessions, coordinates demonstrations or opportunity discussion / closure.
  • Handle and manage end-to-end sales cycle (virtually and / or in-person) – lead generation, prospecting, negotiation and closing deals via different sales and marketing channels.
  • Involvement in new business development activities including follow-up, cold calling, building relationships – existing or new, client outings, and other sales activities.
  • Give presentations on company capabilities to new and existing clients.
  • Plan road trips for opportunities, conferences, tradeshows, and events.
  • Responsible for achieving the assigned targets (appointment booking and / or opportunities dollar value) and meet the organizational goal.
  • Document sales activity with prospective clients using the company’s client relationship management (CRM) tool, manages sales opportunities, sales pipeline, and its activities.
  • Works with managers / business leader to produce contracts and develop quotes with potential clients.
  • Bringing new logos to the company and expanding business nationwide.
  • Perform account management for the accounts landed and take accountabilities for all the activities happening.
  • Creating and maintaining database for different verticals i.e., data mining activities as per your /senior requirement from time to time for a campaign.
  • Conducts appropriate amount of competitive research and maintains knowledge of competitiveservices/products.

An ideal candidate shall be:

  • At least 5+ years of established sales experience with an excellent track record in IoT, AI or information technology arena, preferably selling of services, platform, product, and solution.
  • Excellent experience bringing new logos and proven track record of revenue generation.
  • Possess a good understanding of IoT, AI and information technology services / products and sales processes.
  • Experience in prospecting, calling, virtual/in-person meeting and presentations within a professional sales organization and specifically a track record of building brand new business relationships.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize assignments, work independently with limited supervision and ability to motivate and lead by example.
  • Proven attention to detail and thorough documentation.
  • Polished presentation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ongoing organizational improvement efforts and maintains good inter-departmental relationships.
  • Specialized knowledge: IoT, AI and Web/Mobility technologies. Plus, but not essential like Reality application, chatbot, cloud, RPA, DevOps, service now, and others.
  • Computer skills: Proficient in MS office suite.
  • Sales tools: Knowledge of these tools is plus but not essential like CRM (Zoho / Salesforce), Project Management (Jira / Projects), MQL / SQL generation (Pardot / Marketo), Data Mining (Hoover / ZoomInfo), Meeting (Go To Meeting / MS Teams / Zoom) and others.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree education: B. Tech. in computer, computer science, information technology, or related field is required.
  • Preferred if Master degree education: Marketing, Sales is preferred and plus, but not essential.

Experience:

  • 5 to 8 years into International Market Sales
